Kathy & Cliff had breakfast at the Hotel and after checking out and placing all bags into the vehicle to leave at parking garage until after the ball game, they proceeded walking the downtown streets of Minneapolis on this beautiful Sunday morning.  As they passed any Tiger fans walking the streets a Go Tigers by Cliff with his smile rang out and some high fives.  They entered the Target Field stadium at 11:30 a.m. for the 1:10 p.m. first pitch.  Kathy & Cliff walked all around the stadium visiting stores and all Twin archives areas before getting to their seats (the same seats as the night before).

As the Tiger players being the visiting team, they were unable to mingle with the fans before game time to the disappointment of Kathy & Cliff.  Observing the surroundings of Target Field as located downtown Minneapolis was a sight to behold with the skyscrapers beyond the outside right field wall.

The temperature at game time was 74 degrees and the skies were partly cloudy that really was a great relief whenever the sun was behind a passing cloud to give all fans a feel of a cool breeze.  A total of 28,373 fans arrived to witness this game on Military Appreciation Day at the ball park.

This day belong to the Tigers as they whipped the Twins 9 to 6 to take 2 of 3 games in Minnesota this weekend and the Tiger fans were up to all smiles and high fives going around.  Kathy & Cliff for this game sat next to a young lady from Detroit by herself (a diehard Tiger fan) who flew to Minnesota for the weekend series.  She wore Tiger shorts and Tiger halter top.  Other Tiger fans met were from Ishpeming, Ironwood, Appleton, WI. and many not knowing from where.

The food at the stadium was great and expensive with a bottle of water costing $5 and if you were a drinker a can of beer cost $9.50 as Kathy & Cliff sitting at isle seats needed to pass along many cans of beer for customers in the 12 seat roll with the opposite end to a chain link fence and the TV field booth for FOX Sports Detroit along the side of the Tiger dugout..

Kathy & Cliff departed Target Field with a smile and proceeded to the parking garage chatting with all Tiger fans along the way.  Again, with help of Elvira, Kathy asked her to get us to US8 that began getting out from downtown Minneapolis to head home to Iron Mountain.

Kathy is a great driver and the one stop for a break and fuel were made in Ladysmith, WI. as the ride was accomplished with much talking as the time flew by.  Kathy pulled into Iron Mountain at 12:15 a.m. to conclude a great trip to Minnesota with plans already being made for 2018.
